Community Guidelines

The Project Ed Community is a safe place for anyone to express their creativity, and all members must adhere to the community guidelines to be a good standing member.

1. Be nice!

All community members must respect each other. This means that harassment, bullying, spamming, or trolling will not be permitted in the community, which includes all social media channels (i.e., Tumblr, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.). Constructive criticism is always welcome, but unproductive and extreme negative feedback will not be tolerated. Members will be warned and reported, depending on which social media channel the abuse occurs. Members who repeatedly violate this rule will be disqualified from open contests.

2. Be original.

Respect everyone’s content, and do not steal other content. If we find that you are using copyrighted material without the owner’s explicit permission, you will be disqualified from the current contest. For more information about copyrighted materials, please visit:

3. Be appropriate.

Keep it PG. you’re creating content that may be viewable to people of all ages. Please refrain from using the following content: swearing, nudity, and excessive violence.

4. Have fun!

The Project ED community is a space for all creators of all backgrounds to collaborate and create videos with the power to teach. Winning or losing a contest does not matter -- as long as you’re having fun making films and giving it your best, then we’ve done our job!
